Students, faculty, and staff within the University of Tennessee system (UT Chattanooga, UT Martin, UT Memphis, and UT institutes) may check out books, periodicals, and media using their valid university IDs. Privileges and loan periods<\/a> for UT System affiliates are the same as those for UT Knoxville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resource Sharing<\/a> is NOT<\/strong> available for Non-UTK members. You will need to consult with your parent institution for Resource Sharing requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All UT affiliates and members of the community are welcome to find books in the library and scan portions of the item in Commons South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nCourtesy Cards<\/a>\n<\/td>Those sponsored by a UTK Department, UT Library Administration, or a college\/university with which we have a reciprocal agreement<\/td><\/tr>
\nDonor Cards<\/a>\n<\/td>Non-affiliates of the University of Tennessee who wish to check out books from Hodges, Music, and Ag-Vet Med Libraries.<\/td><\/tr>
\nProxy Cards<\/a>\n<\/td>UT Faculty in order to allow graduate assistants (or other designated individuals) to check out items for the faculty member.<\/td><\/tr>
TBR Privileges<\/a> <\/td>Anyone who attends a Tennessee Board of Regents<\/a> College or University.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Courtesy Cards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Courtesy cards are available to anyone sponsored by a UTK Department, UT Library Administration, or a college\/university with which we have a reciprocal agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost:<\/strong> None<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to obtain:<\/strong> Bring a photo ID to the Hodges Library Public Services desk on the 2nd floor along with emailed or lettered permissions from the sponsoring College or UTK Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fines:<\/strong> All cardholders are responsible for fines<\/a> or accrued charges. Borrowing privileges will be suspended for outstanding fines of $5.00 or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
