This summer the Blount County Public Library will host a concert series entitled “Hot Summer Nights.” From the last week in July through the end of August there will be a concert each Thusday evening at 7:00pm. The concert schedule is as follows: July 27 Hot Summer Nights Concert – Sisters of the Silver Sage (western music); Reading Rotunda 7:00 pm Aug 3 Hot Summer Nights Concert – Don Redman (accordion – classical and standard music); Reading Rotunda 7:00 pm Aug 10 Hot Summer Nights Concert – Logan Murrell – 10 years old (bluegrass & country); Reading Rotunda 7:00 pm Aug 17 Hot Summer Nights Concert – Bill Swann & Friends (jazz); Reading Rotunda 7:00 pm Aug 24 Hot Summer Nights Concert – Corky Long (gospel); Reading Rotunda 7:00 pm Aug 31 Hot Summer Nights Concert – Pistol Creek (rockabilly); on the Library Front Lawn – BRING LAWN CHAIRS! 7:00 pm
