Hurricane Katrina Event at Hodges
As part of Three Years Later: An Examination of the Post Katrina Experience, UT Libraries and Ready for the World will host After the Storm: Rebuilding Lives along the Gulf Coast and in East Tennessee on Wednesday, August 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hodges Library Auditorium.
This informative program will feature stories of Katrina survivors attempting to recover from the storm’s devastation. A discussion will follow facilitated by Dr. Gayle Lodato, UT College of Social Work. After Katrina, Dr. Lodato provided supportive counseling and needs assessment to evacuees who came to Knoxville.
