Have you ever wondered how to incorporate 3D design into everyday life and classroom projects?<\/p>\n<p>Starting March 17, UT students, faculty, and staff are invited to Pendergrass Library every third Thursday of the month from 2-3 p.m. for \u201cMake Break\u201d \u2013 an interactive tour and demonstration of the library\u2019s makerspace and 3D printing technology.<\/p>\n<p>Make Break participants will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>See the library\u2019s two 3D printers<\/li>\n<li>View sample projects and discover classroom applications<\/li>\n<li>Explore software options for 3D design<\/li>\n<li>Learn about the process for printing a 3D object<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants will also be entered into a raffle for a free 3D print of up to $25 value. Raffle winners will be announced at the end of the semester and receive a consultation on choosing or designing their 3D object.<\/p>\n<p>To register for Make Break, email Richard Sexton at <a href=\"mailto:jsexton3@utk.edu\">jsexton3@utk.edu<\/a>.
