It is easier to search for an image from the biomedical literature:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/books\/NBK47520\/\">Images database comprises approximately 3 million images from biomedical literature deposited in full text resources at the NCBI.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Images database is a free resource that is developed and maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).<\/p>\n<p>All images are subject to the general copyright restrictions that apply to material available through the NCBI site.
