Prizes in the national Sparky Awards contest include iPads, iPhones, and iPods. The deadline for entries is May 27, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, UT students submitted eight entries to the Sparky Awards. The UT Libraries held a screening of local entries and awarded its own prizes. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/HodgesStudio#grid\/user\/7D11AC1F91A2EB47\">View last year\u2019s local entries<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Your entry to <em>OpenUp<\/em>!, the 2011 Sparky Awards contest, could be a two-minute video or audio recording expressing your support for the potential of Open Access to foster creativity, innovation, and problem solving.
