\"KevinWilson\"Writers in the Library<\/a> will host a fiction reading by Kevin Wilson at 7 p.m.<\/strong>, Monday<\/strong>, February 14<\/strong>, in UT\u2019s Hodges Library auditorium. There will also be an informal Q&A with the author and literary agent Julie Barer on February 14 at 3 p.m. in 1210-11 McClung Tower.<\/p>\n

Wilson is the author of the short story collection, Tunneling to the Center of the Earth<\/a><\/em> (Ecco\/Harper Perennial, 2009), which received an Alex Award from the American Library Association and the Shirley Jackson Award. His fiction has been featured in Ploughshares, Tin House, One Story<\/em>, and elsewhere, and has appeared in four volumes of the New Stories from the South: The Year’s Best<\/em> anthology. Ecco will publish his novel, The Family Fang<\/a><\/em>, in the summer of 2011.<\/p>\n

Wilson lives in Sewanee, Tennessee, with his wife, the poet Leigh Anne Couch, and his son, Griff, where he teaches fiction at the University of the South and helps run the Sewanee Writers’ Conference.<\/p>\n
