You can access thousands of library resources anytime, anywhere on lib.utk.edu\/agvet<\/a><\/strong>. To get the most out of these resources, you\u2019ll need to use your library accounts<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 You have TWO separate accounts<\/em>, one for items at UT, and one for items from other libraries:<\/p>\n

1.) For books at UT, use your OneSearch Account:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Use your OneSearch Account to do everything related to books you check out from UT. Renew items to keep them longer. See information on items you have checked out and items you have requested for pickup.<\/p>\n

To access your OneSearch Account<\/a>:<\/strong> From the library homepage, click on \u201cOff-campus users: Sign in\u201d above the OneSearch box. Enter your NetID and password. Choose \u201cMy Account\u201d in the upper right to view a list of books, fees, and more.<\/p>\n

2.) For books from other libraries, use your Interlibrary Services (ILS) Account:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Use your Interlibrary Services (ILS) Account (also called ILLiad) to request books and articles that UT does not own. We will locate and deliver materials to you from across the country and beyond!<\/p>\n

To access your ILS Account:<\/strong> Enter your NetID and password on lib.utk.edu\/ils<\/a><\/strong>. You\u2019ll see a list of items you have requested or checked out from other libraries.<\/p>\n

To choose your delivery location:<\/strong> Select \u201cYour Account\u201d in the bottom left to choose Pendergrass Library or your department as your delivery location for physical materials.<\/p>\n

To request an item from another library:<\/strong> Select \u201cRequest a Loan\u201d to ask for a physical book, or \u201cRequest an Article\u201d to ask for a scanned article or book chapter. Remember to include important information like the author, title, and page numbers.<\/p>\n
