websites, to PDFs on your own computer.\u00a0 How do you know which version to trust?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossref.org\/crossmark\/\"><strong>CrossMark<\/strong><\/a> update identification service gives students and researchers the information they need to verify they are using the most up-to-date version of a document.\u00a0 CrossMark also provides information about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossref.org\/crossmark\/PublishersPubRecInfo.htm\"><strong>publication history<\/strong><\/a>, such as how the study was funded and reviewed and where to find additional data.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>How CrossMark Works<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If a publisher subscribes to CrossMark, you will see the CrossMark logo on an article, book chapter, e-book, or other document on the publishers&#8217;
