1. One-on-One Research Help<\/h3>\n

Overwhelmed by too much information? Don’t know where to start on your research?\u00a0 You can set up an appointment for a one-on-one meeting with\u00a0your subject librarian<\/a>\u00a0to help with an assignment or other information need.<\/p>\n

2. Library Express<\/h3>\n

Any of the 200,000 items in our collection, along with the millions of additional volumes in the UT system, can be delivered to any branch library location, such as Hodges or Music, through Library Express<\/a>.\u00a0 Through Scan-on-Demand, we can also scan articles\/chapters from print materials and deliver them as PDFs to your email account.<\/p>\n

3. Access Library Resources, Anywhere<\/h3>\n

Use the library bookmarklet<\/a> or go to our website to access reliable content, including\u00a0agriculture <\/span>databases<\/a>\u00a0and thousands of\u00a0<\/span>ejournals<\/a>\u00a0and ebooks<\/a>. 4. Interlibrary Loan<\/h3>\n

Can’t find what you need? Interlibrary loan<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>gives you access to items from other libraries around the world.\u00a0 Think we should own a particular book, magazine, or DVD?\u00a0 Please contact us<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and make a suggestion!<\/p>\n

5. Endnote or Zotero<\/h3>\n

Once you have found resources, how do you keep track of them all?\u00a0 <\/span>Generate and share works cited lists with a click or cite items within a paper using either\u00a0<\/span>Endnote<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>or\u00a0<\/span>Zotero<\/a>. They take the trouble out of collecting, organizing, and citing.<\/p>\n

6. Multimedia and Technology<\/h3>\n

Pendergrass library strives to meet\u00a0<\/span>your multimedia and technology needs<\/a>. We have a networked computer lab with access to the latest hardware and software.\u00a0 Digital cameras, video cameras, laptops, GPS, and more are all available for check out to help you complete your assignments.<\/p>\n

7. Specialized Printing<\/h3>\n

Large-format printing is great for posters and banners!\u00a0 Submit a large format print request via our online form.<\/a>\u00a0 Pendergrass also has two 3D printers to accommodate a variety of projects, from simple models to more complex.\u00a0 Visit our 3D print guide for more information.\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n

8. Study Space<\/h3>\n

Need group study space?\u00a0 Pendergrass Library maintains a commons study area for group projects.\u00a0 Eating and drinking are allowed.\u00a0 Need quiet space?\u00a0 We have been told that the quiet study area in the stacks is one of the best kept secrets on campus.\u00a0 Need more flexibility?\u00a0 Consider reserving one of our study rooms<\/a>.<\/p>\n

9. Academic Support<\/h3>\n

The Office of Multicultural Student Life<\/a> offers tutoring for agriculture classes on Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m. and Sundays from 3-6 p.m. in Pendergrass Library Study Room E.\u00a0 The Writing Center<\/a> is at Pendergrass Library Wednesdays from 12-2 p.m. in Study Room E.\u00a0 OIT Research Support<\/a> offers statistical consultations in Pendergrass Library any weekday by appointment.\u00a0 Call the OIT Helpdesk at (865) 974-9900 to schedule an appointment with a biostatistician.<\/p>\n
