Before You Move On
Please try to answer all the questions on the next page so that the review committee has enough information to properly evaluate the nomination.
Important!: Course materials that are accessible to UT students through shared licenses (such as most e-journals available through the UT Libraries) are NOT considered OERs. That's because OERs are open -- available to everyone, everywhere, for free, no login required.

What is the name of the instructor you are nominating? Give their first AND last name.
*
What is the instructor's NetID or UTK email address?

Nomination Criteria
Judges will review nominations based on: 1) educational impact, 2) innovation in teaching and learning, 3) economic impact on students, and 4) verification that the work is openly licensed.
Students, please provide information to help the judges determine 1) educational impact and 2) innovation in teaching and learning.

*
Was the OER an open textbook, an open tutorial or video, an open practice problem set, or something else?
Links to OER Used in the Course
*
Provide links to the OER used in the course, or describe how we can find them. (Give the title and author of the textbook, the URL of the website with the video, etc.).
Teaching and Learning Innovation
Think about the OER your instructor assigned in your class.
Had you ever used a learning tool like this (an openly licensed resource) before? Did your instructor use it effectively in the class? Did it help your instructor teach the class in an innovative, unusual, or dynamic way?
Please describe any impact on teaching that you noticed due to the OER.
Educational Impact
*
Did the OER benefit you as a learner? Did the OER improve your experience, or the experience of others, in the course?
Please describe any impact on learning that you noticed due to the OER.
